Hello Hello Hello! I, Kim, will be spending the next month languishing in Whitefish, Montana doing A B S O L U T E L Y N O T H I N G. That’s not strictly true as I will in fact be doing things (like hiking and wandering aimlessly and going to Costco with my mom and riding my bike to the dentist’s office), but I will most certainly not be getting a real job and therefore will not be making real money; therefore, until I leave for Japan on July 2nd and for the 6 months thereafter I will be poor(er).
Kim + Whitefish + 1 month + no job + Tokyo = perpetual destitution
However, I refuse to give in to the seemingly useless jobless existence! This will be the summer when I learn to sew and cook better and do all manner of 50s housewifery. I may even unpack my school suitcases before having to pack my Japan suitcase. But mostly I will be waiting anxiously for my COE (certificate of eligibility) to arrive so that I can apply for my visa already @#@J%@OIUY%)(&DFMK)!! Seriously Japanese government get your act together!
As for posting on this blog, I will try my hardest to keep up to date but I am certainly no interenet fiend/wiz in the style of Mandy so I do not promise greatness, but rather mediocrity! Until next time I bid you all a very fond farewell from the ‘Fish.
